- Die Maison
Chandon Argentina uses well-established techniques to create its benchmark New World sparkling wines. Fresh and elegant, the maison’s approachable wines are perfect as an apéritif, to accompany a meal or to toast any special occasion.
Spirit of enterprise
Robert-Jean de Vogüé, a visionary who became chairman of Moët & Chandon in 1930, saw potential in the New World and in the 1950s sent winemaker Renaud Poirier around the world in search of unexplored terroirs. Poirier found the ideal location in Argentina’s Mendoza region.
A blend of the best
Drawing on centuries of prestige gained from Moët & Chandon, the maison’s sister estate in Argentina produces vibrant, harmonious sparkling wines with concentration, structure and balance – blended from a wide variety of grapes from terroirs throughout Mendoza.
The secret behind Chandon Argentina’s intensely fresh and light sparkling wines is the region’s sandy soils and day-to-night temperature variations unique to high altitudes. Slow-ripening grapes are used to create precise wines with a delicate citrus aroma and fine bubbles.
