The Distillery
Fishers
Located in Aldeburgh, a former fishing village on the beautifully rugged Suffolk coast, the Fishers distillery is set right on Aldeburgh Beach with the River Alde and its salt marshes just behind it. The edible herbs, plants and flowers that surround the distillery are used in the recipes created in the distillery kitchen, as well as in the making of Fishers Gin.

Heritage
Coastal cachet
Drawing on England’s long history of producing gin, Fishers founder Andrew Heald sourced botanicals from the coast and salt marshes around Aldeburgh – his hometown – to make a London Dry gin that celebrates the area’s maritime history. Fishermen’s nets and a scallop shell decorate the bottle.

Gin-making
Coastal botanicals
The marshlands that divide the North Sea from the River Alde is where the Fishers team forages for botanicals to infuse into Fishers Gin. Herbs, grasses and flowers are harvested by hand and distilled with cardamom, caraway and fennel seeds for a smooth gin with saline and herbal tasting notes. The Fishers recipe captures the wild and forgotten flavours of the English coastline.
