The Maison
Newton Vineyard
Working in harmony with nature and adopting a purist approach to winemaking, Newton Vineyard is defined by its selection of fine, unfiltered wines and its new single-vineyard wines, made from three unique terroirs in Napa Valley.

Heritage
Trailblazing founders
In 1977, Dr Su Hua and Peter Newton had a vision to transform a hillside into a 558-acre estate. Newton Vineyard soon became a Napa Valley trailblazer, renowned for launching Newton Unfiltered Chardonnay, one of the first unfiltered wines to be produced and sold in the US.

Winemaking
Purist traditions
Newton Vineyard grapes are harvested by hand and vinified in small batches. There is minimal intervention, and fermentation occurs naturally to protect the characteristics of the fruit and to enhance the final blend’s complexity and vibrancy.

A natural philosophy
Across 118 acres, 112 vineyard blocks are planted at different elevations, each with a different grape varietal, soil type, sun exposure and microclimate. This provides each plot with a distinct character, giving the resulting blends balance and finesse – a rarity in Napa Valley.
