Terrazas de los Andes Torrontés Reserva 2017

Grown in the high-altitude Cafayate Valley, nearly 6,000 feet above sea level in Salta, Argentina, the torrontés grapes in this wine were highly concentrated. While yields were low due to cool weather, a strong fruity expression was present in the grapes, and the resulting wine finds a balance between fruit, acidity and structure.

Food pairing:
Light spices and fresh flavors

Appetizer

A fresh salad of leafy greens, topped with fruit or delicate seafood, is an excellent match.

Entrée

The refreshing acidity of this vintage will enhance the flavors in a lightly spiced, fragrant dish. Pair it with curried wild rice topped with shrimp and a pineapple salsa, or traditional empanadas with finely chopped steak, potatoes and chilies.
