BEHIND THE LABEL
- THE MAISON
Woodinville Whiskey Co.
Woodinville is proud of their methods – sourcing local grains grown by third-generation farmers on a single 800-acre farm in Quincy, Washington, and distilling in a handmade pot and column still to create rich, smooth and complex American rye and bourbon whiskies with toasty, sweet and spicy flavors.
Orlin Sorensen and Brett Carlile were best friends with a common dream. Mentored by an icon of the industry, they learned time-honored traditions and technological innovations. The result? Coveted, award-winning craft whiskies.
It is not just the local grain that makes Woodinville whiskies so special. Oak barrels spend up to two years out in the Pacific Northwest elements before coopering, and pure Cascade Mountain spring water is used during distillation.
