The Maison
Glenmorangie
Specific production methods define Glenmorangie Scotch whisky. Extra maturation in sherry, port, bourbon, or sauternes or burgundy wine casks creates smooth and complex single-malt whiskies that are often sweet, with notes of vanilla, citrus, honey and dark chocolate.

Places
Nature’s finest
The Tarlogie Springs are a prized asset of the house. The result of rain forcing its way through limestone and sandstone for 100 years, this water source is naturally rich in minerals and gives Glenmorangie its uniquely smooth finish.

The smallest cut
Glenmorangie distills each batch of spirit twice in tall 26-foot stills and chooses the middle cut of distillate for maturation – keeping only the best of the best. This ensures the most delicate fruity and floral flavors are retained, while heavier notes are removed.

Faces
Men of Tain
Glenmorangie is fiercely protective of its heritage. It entrusts the secrets of its distillery to only 16 craftsmen – known as the Men of Tain – who uphold its traditions and techniques. In turn, they will then pass on their knowledge to the generations that follow.
