  • Product Details

For the 2017 Skyside Red Blend, winemakers sourced fruits from five diverse counties in California’s North Coast appellation to craft a medium-bodied red with balanced tannins and acidity.

While grapes from Mendocino and Sonoma Counties impart structure and depth, those from Lake, Solano and Napa add an aromatic profile and enhance the wine’s dark fruit flavors.

  • Blend and Origin

The year began with rain after a long period of drought, and heat in early September helped the grapes to reach peak maturity. For this wine, merlot (44%), petit syrah (29%), cabernet sauvignon (24%), carignan (2%) and syrah (1%) from five counties in California’s North Coast appellation were fermented on skins, and the blend aged for 10 months in French oak (30% new).

A true North Coast red blend
