Blend and Origin
Newton Vineyard Skyside Chardonnay 2016
A blend of chardonnay grapes from cool Sonoma County's AVAs of Knights Valley, Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley and Dry Creek Valley. In order to balance richness and freshness, the wine is partly barrel- and tank-fermentated. Tanks and barrels receive weekly battonage to build complexity and roundness. The wine then matured 7 months in oak barrel (22% new).
