Blend and Origin
Newton Vineyard Single Vineyard Yountville 2015
Crafted from 100% cabernet sauvignon grapes grown in Newton’s Yountville vineyard, this wine benefited from the cooler temperatures along the Mayacamas Mountains’ fog line. While yields in 2015 were low, the harvest produced grapes of excellent quality, and the wine spent 16 months in French oak (50% new).
Match the wine’s depth of flavor
Red meat dishes, served rare, such as a New York strip steak with a classic Béarnaise sauce, are an ideal match with this cabernet sauvignon’s bold character.
