    Named for the five classic Bordeaux grape varietals that fit together like the pieces of a puzzle, the 2015 vintage of Newton Vineyard’s Puzzle has a unique personality and excellent aging potential. A masterful blend that has been the hallmark of the estate for nearly 20 years, Puzzle showcases tried and tested winemaking techniques and the best fruits from Napa Valley’s Spring Mountain vines.

  • Blend and Origin

    Newton Vineyard Puzzle 2015

    The grapes for this blend of cabernet sauvignon (44%), merlot (35%), petit verdot (8%), cabernet franc (8%) and malbec (5%) are sourced exclusively from Spring Mountain. While yields were low in 2015, the grapes were of outstanding quality. Fermented and barrel aged for 12 months in separate batches, the wine was then blended and returned to the barrel to mature further.
