  • Product Details

Described by winemakers as the very essence of a Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon, the 2016 unfiltered vintage from Newton Vineyard is a silky-smooth classic.

Grapes were selected from the estate’s best vineyards in the Spring Mountain, Mt. Veeder and Yountville appellations, with the wine left unfiltered to allow the fruit’s character to shine through.

  • Blend and Origin

The cabernet sauvignon (85.27%), petit verdot (5.93%), merlot (5.74%) and cabernet franc (3.06%) for this vintage were sourced from the estate’s Spring Mountain, Mt. Veeder and Yountville vineyards. Warm days toward the end of August meant the grapes were fully ripe when it came to picking, and the resulting wine spent 14 months aging in French oak, 15% of which was new.
