Product DetailsThe oldest and rarest of all Glenmorangie whiskies, Pride 1974 is a stunning single malt with intense depth of color and flavor. So scarce is this scotch, just 503 bottles are in existence. 1974 is Glenmorangie’s most mature single malt and the third in the Pride series. Spirits aged for 41 years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks are combined to create an astonishingly finessed spirit.

Blend and Origin
Glenmorangie Pride 1974
This incredible whisky’s journey starts with the Glenmorangie estate’s Cadboll barley, which is distilled by pure water from nearby Tarlogie Springs. The beating heart of this blend, however, is the exquisite wood used for the 41-year maturation period: hand-selected ex-bourbon oak casks from the US and the finest ex-Oloroso sherry casks from Spain.
More to try
Robust dishes for a complex scotch
A roast venison loin, served medium-rare with a lush blackberry sauce, is an excellent pairing for this intense single malt.
Finish with a selection of cheeses that includes a strong blue and a mature cheddar. Serve with cracked walnuts and a small pot of honey for drizzling.
