  • Product Details

The 2015 vintage from Cheval des Andes captures the essence of the Bordeaux style. This is an elegant and nuanced Argentinian malbec blend, which will develop wonderfully over time. Enjoy aromas of dark fruits, licorice and menthol alongside anise, leather and clove. Balanced on the palate, the wine displays the roundness of malbec and the structure of cabernet sauvignon.

  • Blend and Origin

    Cheval des Andes 2015

A blend of malbec (69%) and cabernet sauvignon (31%), this vintage was created in a hot and dry year, with rain and cooler temperatures towards the end of the season helping to slow down ripening. Winemakers aged the blend in French oak (35% new), using a higher than usual proportion of large-format barrels to preserve the crisp character of the fruits.

A characterful, elegant Argentinian red
