Blend and Origin
Cheval des Andes 2014
A masterful blend of malbec (83%), petit verdot (9%) and cabernet sauvignon (8%), this wine is as unique as the estates that makes it. Following intense rain in April, 2014 saw one of the coldest harvests in the region’s history. Aging in French oak (15% new) helped to create a wine that is vibrant and unique, and has great aging potential.
