Bodega Numanthia Termes Tinta de Toro 2015

The tinto de toro (100%) grapes, a cousin of tempranillo, for this wine were grown in the estate’s Valdefinjas, Morales de Toro, Toro and Venialbo vineyards. The 2015 vintage benefited from hot temperatures, and the grapes were juicy and aromatic at harvest time. The wine was aged in French oak (20% new) for 14 months, then in the bottle for a further 12 to develop balance.
