Veuve Clicquot’s 66th vintage emerged from a harvest which, against all odds, delivered supreme fruit. And, blended with fine red wine, the Rosé 2012 is a uniquely vivacious expression of that year.

Appearance

Deep rose with hints of copper

Aroma

At first pure and intense, then delightfully fresh with red fruits, wild strawberries and blueberries.

Taste

Powerful and generous, with more luscious strawberries and morello cherries. Silky tannins contrast with saffron and peppery notes, then indulgent pastry and almonds shine through, before an impressively long finish.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Veuve Clicquot Vintage Rosé 2012

As with all Veuve Clicquots, the blend is dominated by Pinot Noir (51%), with Meunier (15%) and Chardonnay (34%), all exclusively from grands and premiers crus.
 

The vintage takes its unique strength and aromatic intensity from a proportion of wines aged in large oak casks, while a blend with 13% of red still wine from the Pinot Noir of Bouzy, creates this luscious Rosé.
