TASTING NOTES:
Balancing power and elegance
A light, shimmering gold.
A vibrant, fresh opening gives way to more rounded aromas of dried figs and apricots, ripe pear and a hint of hazelnuts.
A sharp minerality shines through in this vintage, with flavours of citrus and cherry complemented by a silky texture. With a high proportion of pinot noir, it finds a perfect balance between freshness and structure.

Cellar Master, Veuve Clicquot

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Blanc 2008
Pinot noir (92%) and chardonnay (8%) from six grand cru vineyards – Aÿ, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Verzy, Verzenay and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger – make up this vintage.
A cool and rainy spring and a cool, dry summer created grapes with a remarkable acidity that recalled other extraordinary vintages from the maison.
Aged for 10 years, it has a complexity that will develop further in time.
