Blend and Origin
Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé 2008
A blend of grapes from six of the maison’s historical grands crus, this rosé champagne is made from pinot noir (92%) and chardonnay (8%), with pinot noir red wine (14%) from the maison’s iconic Clos Colin. Cool and dry weather in 2008 characterised the vintage, offering excellent ripening conditions and exceptional acidity levels in the grapes.
