A rare and elegant expression of the Veuve Clicquot style, La Grande Dame Rosé is a tribute to Madame Clicquot, known as the “Great Lady of Champagne”, and has become a classic prestige vintage champagne.
A chaotic 2006 vintage meant that the vines were forced to draw on their reserves to produce bright, ripe grapes, which resulted in this champagne’s exceptional fresh, silky and mineral personality.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé 2006

The grapes used to create La Grande Dame Rosé are grown across eight classic Champagne grands crus.
 

The 2006 cuvée is led by pinot noir (53%) from Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy and Verzenay, with chardonnay (47%) from the villages of Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
 

The blend includes red wine (15%), coming only from the precious walled plot of Clos Colin in Bouzy.
