TASTING NOTES:
Elegant and spiciness
Vibrant salmon pink with copper glints and small, sparkling bubbles.
Floral and fruit-filled, this rosé releases notes of berries and toasted hazelnuts.
Lively, fresh and plump on the palate, this elegant brut champagne has a long mineral finish and a silky texture, with subtle tannins coming from the pinot noir.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame Rosé 2006
The grapes used to create La Grande Dame Rosé are grown across eight classic Champagne grands crus.
The 2006 cuvée is led by pinot noir (53%) from Aÿ, Bouzy, Ambonnay, Verzy and Verzenay, with chardonnay (47%) from the villages of Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
The blend includes red wine (15%), coming only from the precious walled plot of Clos Colin in Bouzy.

FOOD PAIRING:
SELECT SUBTLE, REFINED DISHES
Autumn chanterelles in a creamy sauce will help to soften the tannins in this rosé.
A lightly smoked fish or poached chicken allow this powerful champagne to shine.
A red-fruit tiramisu promises to enliven the aromatic intensity of La Grande Dame.
