Fruity and expressive

Appearance

Intense ruby-red colour.

Aroma

Red and black fruit on the nose such as cherry and plum, subtle aromas of violet, and gentle, toasty notes from well-integrated oak.

Taste

A sweet opening; full-bodied mid-palate underpinned by sweet and round tannins, then a fresh, juicy finish reminiscent of red and black fruit.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Terrazas de los Andes Malbec 2019

This wine is made from a blend of more than 100 parcels from six vineyards along the valleys of Luján de Cuyo and Uco, whose altitudes range from 1,070m to 1,250m above sea level.

After destemming, grapes are macerated separately according to their origin.

Most of the wine is then aged for one year in French oak barrels to achieve stability, refinement and complexity.

A small percentage rests as a component inside concrete vats to preserve the fresh fruit aromas and flavours.

Ideal with grilled meat and strong cheeses.

Pair with red and game meat, especially grilled, and hard cheeses such as Parmesan, Emmental, Roquefort and some goat's cheeses.

Matches especially well with desserts that include red fruit, dried fruit or coconut.
