Blend and Origin
Terrazas de los Andes Malbec 2015
This textbook Mendoza malbec is crafted from grapes grown in two vineyards situated above 1,070 metres: Las Compuertas and Paraje Altamira. The growing and harvesting conditions in 2015 produced early ripening in grapes resulting in more concentrated yet delicate wines, balanced between ripeness and freshness. The wine was aged for 12 to 14 months in a combination of new and old French oak barrels.
This product can only be purchased by persons over 18 years of age.
A match for meat
Try dishes that are soft yet rich, such as tuna carpaccio with a pomegranate vinaigrette, or lightly spiced baked beef empanadas.
Simply prepared beef dishes and steak are a perfect complement to the soft tannins and fruity finish of the wine.
An intense chocolate tart with red-fruit sorbet brings out the flavours of this blend perfectly.
