Details
This exceptional vintage is everything you’d expect of a quality malbec made at high altitudes: it's smooth, bold and complex with a balanced acidity and firm tannins to guarantee a long ageing potential.
After hand-harvesting a carefully considered blend of grapes from three vineyards sited across Mendoza, the wine is then aged for 12 months in French oak barrels followed by another 12 months in the bottle.

TASTING NOTES:
Intense and complex

Appearance

Intense red colour with violet hues.

Aroma

Intense and complex on the nose, combining aromas of raspberry and black cherry from Las Compuertas with plum and violet from Paraje Altamira, and blueberry and fresh herbs from Los Chacayes.

Taste

A great concentration of tannins leads to a creamy and unctuous mouthfeel, while a balanced acidity and firm tannins contribute to a pleasant and persistent finish.

BLEND & ORIGIN WINES

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Terrazas de los Andes Grand Malbec 2019

This 100% malbec is crafted from quality grapes harvested from three high-altitude vineyards in the Mendoza valleys of Luján de Cuyo and Uco.

It is tipped to go down as one of the best vintages of the decade, thanks to favourable climatic conditions in which high temperatures accelerated the maturity of the malbec grapes and little rain contributed to the health of the vineyard.
