TASTING NOTES:
Terrazas de los Andes Chardonnay 2022
Juicy aromas of yellow peach and pear are lifted by notes of grapefruit, candied citrus peel and a hint of white honey.
On the palate, the appealing bright fruit flavour of pear and a balanced acidity lead to a full body and a long, unctuous finish with subtle brioche notes.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Terrazas de los Andes Chardonnay 2022
Despite a year full of unexpected twists and turns in the vineyard, the resulting harvest of 100% chardonnay grapes was high quality, with an ideal balance of sugar and acidity.
At the start of January, a heatwave accelerated the ripening so the vineyards responded with carefully targeted irrigation.
Frost in March forced an early harvest, but the team managed to avoid over-ripeness and preserve the grapes' fruity and mineral aromas as well as natural acidity.
After pressing and fermentation, the wine was aged for eight months in oak barrels before being stabilised and bottled.

FOOD PAIRING:
Terrazas de los Andes Chardonnay 2022
Pair with camembert and brie cheese, whether served as a starter or as part of a cheese course.
Serve alongside grilled white fish or pasta with butter or heavy cream sauces. It also pairs well with spicy Thai cuisine.
Fruit-based desserts are ideal – look for fresh flavours of apple, pineapple, mango, orange and lime.
