Terrazas de los Andes Chardonnay 2016

Grapes from Uco Valley terroirs at altitudes of 1,250 metres lend freshness and delicacy to this chardonnay. In 2016, colder spring with delay in bud break, rains during flowering, and numerous overcast days resulted in delayed maturity and lower yields. Meticulous vineyard management ensured ideal grape ripeness. After partial fermentation in oak barrels and eight months of maturation, the wine reached its optimum elegance and balance.

Try sautéed prawns with mango over a salad of bitter greens, goat cheese and toasted almonds. Grilled rock lobster tails will also work well.

Main

Opt for sweet yet savoury slow-braised pork shoulder with a pear and sweet potato purée, or poached salmon and fresh green beans.

Dessert

Finish with honey panna cotta and praline ice cream.
