TASTING NOTES:
Fruit-driven, spicy and elegant
Deep red colour with purple highlights.
The freshness of the high altitude shows on the nose with aromas of ripe black fruit and delicate spicy notes of white pepper.
Gentle on the palate to begin with, leading to a full-bodied mid-palate. Thanks to firm tannins, you can expect a round and juicy finish with good tension.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Terrazas de los Andes Cabernet Sauvignon 2020
This cabernet sauvignon is a blend of more than 25 parcels from three high-altitude vineyards.
Although the growing season in 2020 was challenging – with hot temperatures, unexpected frosts, yield reductions and water restrictions all affecting the harvest – a remarkable ripeness, great natural acidity, fine colours and fresh flavours were all achieved.
Most of the wine is aged in French oak for 12-14 months followed by another six months in the bottle.

FOOD PAIRING:
The perfect partner for red meats
Serve this full-bodied cabernet sauvignon alongside rich game meat such as deer, wild boar and rabbit, as well as lamb and other grilled red meats. Or try it with ember-roasted vegetables, hearty stews and dishes with a demi-glace sauce.
