Product DetailsA bold and juicy cabernet sauvignon with some light spice, this is a classic Argentinian interpretation of the well-known French grape. It is made from grapes grown in the high-altitude vineyards of the Uco Valley in Mendoza, which is known to produce some of the country's finest wines. This wine spent 12 months in oak to soften strong tannins, followed by six months in bottle. The longer it is aged at home, the more pronounced and vegetal the flavours and aromas will become.

Blend and Origin
It was a fantastic year for cabernet sauvignon, and for the Uco Valley where these grapes are grown. Very good levels of natural acidity were achieved, as well as concentrated fruit flavours and thick skins – often a sign of high-quality wines. 40% of the wine is aged in French oak for 12 months followed by bottle ageing for a further six months.
