The Distillery
Procera
Procera is a proudly African gin brand that uses 10 botanicals from around the continent. Coriander and orris root from Morocco, selim pepper from Sierra Leone, cardamom and mace from Zanzibar, pixie orange, Swahili lime and African juniper from Kenya, acacia honey from Somali and pink pepper from Madagascar.

Heritage
Made in Nairobi
Craft and sustainability are at the heart of operations at the Procera distillery. Each beautiful mouth-blown glass bottle is a unique creation by Kitengala Hot Glass, while the wooden stopper and leather tie are also handcrafted in Kenya. For every bottle of Procera gin sold, the distillery plants a new Juniperus procera tree.

Gin making
African Juniper
A gin is defined by the quality of its juniper, and the choice to use undried juniper from Juniperus procera trees was a purposeful one. African juniper berries have a nutty, earthy taste – the result of being exposed to plenty of sunshine at high altitudes. Being the only gin in the world to harness these unique flavours makes Procera very special indeed.
