TASTING NOTES:
Beautifully balanced, fruit-forward
Intense gold with a hint of green almond.
Fruit-forward with notes of lemon, apricot and peach. White flowers, fresh almond paste and candied orange peel indicate in-bottle ageing.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Ruinart Dom Ruinart 2009
A dry summer allowed the grapes to reach full maturity without risk from disease or damp.
Ruinart Dom Ruinart 2009 is a blend of chardonnay grapes from grand cru vineyards in Côtes de Blancs (82%) and Montagne de Reims (18%).
Nine years in the Ruinart crayères have softened its bracing acidity, making it ideal to enjoy now.
Further ageing in bottle will allow its flavours to mellow and develop for 20 years or more.

FOOD PAIRING:
Champagnes with high acidity and citrus freshness can work to cut through rich dishes such as a risotto made with double cream and parmesan. Ruinart Dom Ruinart 2009 has enough texture to stand up to a pinch of black truffle.
