Product Details
Chardonnay is the “golden thread” that runs through all Ruinart champagne. Sourced from grand cru vineyards, this grape is expressed in a beautifully restrained and fresh way in the 2004 vintage. Of all the champagne grapes, chardonnay takes the longest to develop its elegant flavours. That is why Ruinart ages its vintage champagnes on lees for between eight and 10 years. -

Blend and Origin
Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2004
This blanc de blancs is made exclusively of chardonnay from grand cru vineyards – 69% from Côtes des Blancs and 31% from Montagne de Reims. The grapes vary in their fruitiness, richness, freshness and minerality depending on the terroir in which they are grown, and in this vintage Cellar Master Frédéric Panaïotis has blended a champagne with complexity and structure.
