Cocktail Time: Old Town Punch
Punch is believed to be one of the first original cocktails. While the first reference to it dates back to 1632, it was likely drunk a long time before that by sailors who brought spirits back from their travels. Citrusy and sweet, a punch is a crowd-pleasing tipple and so easy to make.
Here, the bittersweet orange from the Aperol used combines with the sweet, florals of the St. Germain elderflower liqueur to create an aromatic cocktail. Serve in a lowball glass with a twist of grapefruit to garnish.
HOW TO MAKE AN OLD TOWN PUNCH: THE STEP BY STEP RECIPE
- Combine all the liquid ingredients in a shaker and shake well.
- Pour into the glass and add ice.
- Slice a thin section of grapefruit peel. Twist and garnish.

- 43 mL Belvedere vodka
- 21 mL Fresh lemon juice
