Blend and Origin
Newton Vineyards Single Vineyard Yountville Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
The 100% cabernet sauvignon grapes in this vintage benefited from the cool morning fog, abundant sunshine and exceptional terroir – gravelly silt loam and gravelly alluvial soil with rocks – in the Yountville vineyard. Warm, dry weather in 2014 produced an outstanding crop, and the wine was aged for 16 months in 100% French oak, 50% of which was new.
This product can only be purchased by persons over 18 years of age.
Best paired with a richly sauced pasta
Tagliatelle in a moreish sauce of slow-roasted tomatoes with pearls of Mozzarella is an ideal match.
