This cabernet sauvignon is fruit-driven, structured and intense. Grown in Newton Vineyard’s rugged, mountainous Mount Veeder vineyard, the grapes for this wine are hand-picked from land that was once under the ocean on the western edge of the Napa Valley. -

Blend and Origin
Single Vineyard Mount Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
The grapes for this 100% cabernet sauvignon were grown in well-draining decomposed sandstone and shale on the Mayacamas Mountains on the Western edge of the Napa Valley. Mount Veeder is the coolest vineyard in the valley, characterised by variable aspects and soil types. The wine was aged 16 months in 100% French oak (60% new).
