Blend and Origin
Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2009
A difficult start to the year proved concerning, but the persistent rain and cold temperatures reversed in July, and a sunny and hot summer led to grapes with near-perfect acidity. A blend of pinot noir (59%), of which 19% is still red wine, chardonnay (30%) and meunier (11%), this champagne is expressive and fruity. Seven years of cellaring creates balance and complexity.
This product can only be purchased by persons over 18 years of age.
More to try
Be brave with this grand blend
Pair with a starter of tuna carpaccio and sliced fennel, or Sichuan pepper pastry canapés.
For a main course, experiment with king crab tabbouleh and herbs, or pigeon breast with a citrus-based sauce.
Strawberry and black pepper jelly with hibiscus sauce, or a strawberry and grapefruit crunch with Sichuan pepper ice cream make for ideal final courses.
