MOET & CHANDON BENOIT GOUEZ

TASTING NOTES:
Full-bodied, generous and creamy

Aroma

Lots of generous fruit aromas.

Taste

Long, tender and warm on the palate, expect initial notes of brioche, ripe pear, almond and citrus developing towards peach and apricot, candied lemon and honey and finishing with gingerbread and notes of smoky tea. The body is full, generous and creamy, and the initial acidity has developed into the freshness of candied mandarin and clementine.

BLEND & ORIGIN CHAMPAGNE

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Collection 1995

A Grand Vintage is declared a Grand Vintage Collection when it has spent an extended time in the maison’s cellars maturing on the lees.

The wines spend longer in the dark cellars and have a later disgorgement, which allows deeper complexity and sophistication.

This particular Grand Vintage has a final blend of 50% pinot noir, 40% chardonnay and 10% meunier.

FOOD PAIRING MOËT & CHANDON

FOOD PAIRING:
An ideal match for savoury, creamy dishes.

Pairs well with flavoursome shellfish such as freshly poached lobster.

Serve with simple fish dishes such as salmon in a cream sauce or grilled tuna steak. Or try it with something a little more adventurous, such as conger eel fillet with sea urchins and risotto.

Finish with creamy goat's cheese or deep‐fried ricotta with honey.
