BLEND & ORIGIN CHAMPAGNE

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Collection 1993

Made from a unique blend of chardonnay (30%), pinot noir (50%) and meunier (20%) grapes, this vintage champagne is a tribute to the vineyards that yielded this exceptional harvest.

A mild winter and spring followed by heavy rains toward the end of the season and hot sunny weather in August resulted in a plentiful harvest but, due to torrential rains just before the harvest in September, careful grape selection was crucial.

The season’s white wines, which would later be included in the assemblage, proved to have a particularly attractive fresh, fruity flavour.

Nurtured and aged for decades to allow its flavours to intertwine and develop into a symphony of taste, it was disgorged in November 2011.
