Details
Music – and the belief that the notes, sounds and vibrations all influence and improve the champagne drinking experience – has been at the heart of Krug since 1843. And that’s why Krug’s recent artistic collaboration with a collective of musicians is so special.
Five international musicians have come together to compose a bespoke composition, designed to be listened to while savouring a bottle of Krug Rosé 27ème. Simply pour a glass of the rosé champagne, scan the QR code that’s included with the packaging, close your eyes and tune into a masterful musical experience from the comfort of your own home, or anywhere you like.

BLEND & ORIGIN CHAMPAGNE

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Krug Rosé 27ème Édition

Krug Rosé 27ème Édition was composed around the harvest of 2015, a year marked by unprecedented heat and drought that prevailed from the end of May to mid-August, slowing down grape development.

Fortunately, rain and reasonable temperatures in the second half of August encouraged the fruit to grow and ripen in optimal conditions.

Comprising 57% pinot noir, 23% chardonnay and 20% meunier, the assemblage is made up of 38 different base wines from nine different years – the youngest of which is from 2015 while the oldest dates back to 2005.

A stay of at least seven years in Krug's cellars gives this release its unique expression and elegance.

FOOD PAIRING KRUG

FOOD PAIRING:
Krug Rosé 27ème Édition

A rosé champagne that could easily take the place of a good red wine at the dining table, it best accompanies intensely savoury dishes and is not recommended for sweet desserts. Enjoy it with foie gras, lamb, game, white meat, venison, spiced dishes and anchovies, where the saltiness of the fish elevates the champagne's fruit aromas and silkiness.
