    Composed around the 2012 harvest, Krug Grande Cuvée 168ème Édition is an expressive and elegant blend of 198 reserve wines from 11 different years.

    Maison Krug has discovered that blending wines from so many different years lends a unique fullness of flavours and aromas – and character impossible to express with the wines of a single year.

  • Blend and Origin

    This blend of 52% pinot noir, 35% chardonnay and 13% meunier comprises 198 wines (42% reserve) from 11 different years, the youngest from 2012 and the oldest from 1996. The 2012 vintage survived frost, rain, hail and a dry ripening season, with the resulting wines round and elegant. Around seven years in Krug’s cellars helps the final blend reveal its distinct expression.
