To usher in the Chinese New Year, internationally renowned artist Zhang Enli has created a unique artwork for Maison Hennessy. The piece decorates a limited number of bottles of Hennessy X.O.
The painting, entitled Poetry and Wine Welcome the Tiger, features Enli's broad brushstrokes and bold colours, which represent the power, success and confidence of a tiger. Each bottle in this collaboration features the artwork on the label and inside the specially designed gift box.

Aroma

Scents of candied fruit combine with a subtle, lightly spicy nose, giving X.O its unmistakable aroma.

X.O has a powerful, albeit soft, tonality, with hints of cocoa and a warm, fruity presence, followed by a tremendous length.

The ageing process distinguishes X.O from our other blends.
 

The eaux-de-vie are aged for a minimum of 10 years in mainly French oak barrels.
 

Absorbing tannins from the wood, the cognac develops a uniquely satisfying character that is robust and rich, with incredible persistence.

Begin with a simple starter of oven-cooked king prawns.

A fillet of sea bass, served on a bed of buttery sautéed leeks, is a rich yet delicate compliment.
