For Hennessy's MixTalks series, the cognac House introduces people who take on a distinct approach to their craft and push boundaries. For this edition of Hennessy MixTalks, mixologist and owner of Hamburg-based bar "Chug Club", Betty Kupsa, creates tailor made cocktails for fashion designer Stefan Eckert, bartender Jörg Meyer and chef Christoph Brand. Each character is reflected in each bespoke cocktail as their personalities were Betty's main source of inspiration.
Betty Kupsa
The Mixologist
Betty Kupsa, winner of 'Hostess of the Year' and 'Bar of the Year' at the German Mixology Bar Awards 2018, is the owner of Chug Club in Hamburg where delicate flavours are the focus. 'Chugs' are small drinks and the specialty of the house is the daily 'chug menu', a five-course drink menu with the aim of allowing guests to taste more flavour combinations. Betty Kupsa has not only been acclaimed as a mixologist but also as an exceptional hostess, making every guest who walks through her doors feel at home.
Hennessy & Mixology
