Named after the Brooklyn neighbourhood, Greenpoint generally has a greenish tint to it thanks to the addition of Chartreuse. A green cocktail can be a bit disconcerting though; it’s not Halloween every day. And matching your drink to your indoor plants is pushing it a bit, don’t you think? Using yellow herbal liquor instead of green will not only give the drink a fantastic golden glow, it’ll also bring an interesting herbaceous touch to the spicy notes of the Glenmorangie whisky. Greenpoint is a cocktail with character and a rich aromatic profile.

How to mix a Greenpoint – the step by step recipe

  • Add the sweet vermouth, yellow herbal liquor and Glenmorangie whisky.
  • Add ice, stir and strain into a cocktail glass.
  • Squeeze the lemon zest over the top to release the oils.
