TASTING NOTES:
Spicy with a hint of nuttiness
Deep ochre
Touches of honey, hazelnuts, mandarin oranges and toffee are followed by fragrant top notes, including sweet ripening barley and baked peaches. A splash of water releases some flinty minerality, along with floral notes of honeysuckle and jasmine.
A gently spicy mouthfeel leads into a burst of sweet and spicy flavours, including heather honey, gingerbread, hazelnut praline, fudge, toffee and a touch of clove. Nuttiness from the Amontillado cask is always present, while a lingering aftertaste has touches of marzipan, coconut and freshly baked fruit loaf.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Glenmorangie The Cadboll Estate Third Batch Release
The Cadboll barley, which gives The Cadboll Estate series whiskies their delicious creaminess and depth, is very scarce.
Found only in the fields of Glenmorangie’s 440-acre Cadboll Estate, the barley is grown, harvested, dried and malted under the watchful eye of Dr Bill Lumsden, Director of Whisky Creation.
Only enough barley is grown on the estate each year for between one and two weeks of distillation.
As this third release is entirely distilled from the exceptionally precious Cadboll barley, it too is extremely rare.
