While the exact recipe is clouded in secrecy, Signet incorporates Glenmorangie’s oldest whiskies. Its unique flavour comes from dark-roasted “chocolate” malt and time in bespoke casks.

Appearance

Deep amber in colour.

Aroma

Strong espresso and dark chocolate aromas are infused with notes of treacly plum pudding, rich with cherry and candied orange peel.

Taste

Voluptuously viscous on the palate, Signet offers a contrast of sweetness, spiciness and bitter mocha flavours, giving way to a fresh breeze of mint, with a bright citrus quality.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Glenmorangie Signet

Heavily roasted barley gives this unique single malt its rich heart, while estate-grown Cadboll barley provides the creamy Glenmorangie style.
 

The final blend combines sweet whiskies extra-matured in ex-sherry casks, spicy and toasty whiskies from charred, new-oak barrels, and – providing Signet with its signature depth – whiskies from the oldest Glenmorangie stocks.
