TASTING NOTES:
Precise, deep and sculptural
Fruit aromas remain discreet with this second release of the vintage, yet they are more clearly defined with citrusy notes of pink grapefruit and blood oranges gently giving way to figs. The additional time on lees elevates the minerality with a sublime maturity that is typical of Dom Pérignon. Cocoa, mocha, roasted nuts, brioche and honey follow.
The flavours of this vintage reveal themselves both immediately and with surprise, evolving between tension and weightlessness, which come together in a persistent and elegant finish underlined by sappy, liquorice notes.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Dom Pérignon Vintage 2004 Plénitude 2
Arriving after a year marked by dramatic frosts and a historic heatwave, 2004 stood out as a year of renaissance and calm in the vineyards.
Even though August was a bit cool, the few weeks of dry heat that followed really shaped the vintage.
The vines thrived, expressing themselves to the full with a generous harvest of excellent, ripe grapes.
