  • Product Details

Born in a challenging year, the pinot noir grapes for this vintage were picked later than normal. The risk paid off, as this champagne – presented here in a magnum – was an instant hit. A bolder, darker expression of the maison’s iconic blanc, this rosé reveals the richness of pinot noir while remaining faithful to the house style. Its bracing vinosity will further develop over time.

  • Blend and Origin

    Dom Pérignon Rosé 2005

This blend of 55% pinot noir (27% red wine) and 45% chardonnay is distinguished by the character of the pinot noir. A year of contrasts, 2005 was hot and dry, but with cool temperatures and rain in September. Especially rigorous grape selection in the maison’s vineyards yielded a limited volume of grapes with exceptional aromatic maturity.
