Cooking at Home: Cheese Gougères with Cloudy Bay Chardonnay
While we all dream of going back out soon, food and travel photographer Joann Pai (@sliceofpai) found a great way to keep us inside: a recipe for cheese gougères perfectly paired with a glass of Cloudy Bay Chardonnay.
INGREDIENTS
- 75g of grated gruyere
- 75g of butter
- 150g of flour
- 25cl water
- 4 eggs
- Pinch of salt
METHOD
Step1: heat the butter, water and salt in a saucepan until it's boiling. Remove from heat, add the flour and mix with a spatula
Step 2: Let it cool. Then add eggs one by one and mix well. Add the grated cheese.
Step 3: Using a spoon, place the mixture in portion onto the parchment paper. Bake for approximately 10min in the oven at 210°C
At last (but not least): Enjoy your gougères with a glass of Cloudy Bay Chardonnay
