  • Product Details

The 33rd vintage of the iconic Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc is crisp, mineral, elegant and ageworthy. A beautiful expression of New Zealand's Malborough terroir with ripe, juicy stone fruit and lemongrass notes. 2017 was challenging vintage for Malborough: an ideal growing season allowed grapes to ripen beautifully just before the rain arrived with cyclone Debbie. Yields were low and quality was chosen over quantity.

Food pairing:
Seafood pairings work best

Starter

Allow the vibrancy of this wine to come to the fore by pairing with delicately flavoured dishes. Raw oysters make a perfect starter, as would asparagus with a drizzle of balsamic.

Main

Try steamed mussels with parsley and garlic, or with lemongrass and Thai basil. Alternatively, salmon maki provides texture and complements the sauvignon blanc’s intense aromas.
