TASTING NOTES:
AN ELEGANT AND COMPLEX SPARKLING ROSÉ
Pale salmon pink
Brambly aromas laden with raspberries, cranberries and ripe wild strawberries, with hints of rosehip, marzipan and fresh bread.
Gentle, mouth-filling characters of baked quince, cranberry and brioche, with soft citrus notes for freshness and balance. A fine structure persists to a soft, dry finish.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
Cloudy Bay Pelorus Rosé
Cloudy Bay Pelorus Rosé comes from a blend of chardonnay and pinot noir grapes,
hand-picked from vines planted in the warm, stony soils of Marlborough and Central Otago on New Zealand’s South
Island, where the Cloudy Bay vineyards are situated.
These conditions are ideal for the balance of ripeness and acidity required for this
refined sparkling rosé.
Blending takes place in September and October. The wine then undergoes a secondary fermentation in-bottle and matured for at least two years, in the manner of traditional champagne.
