Blend and Origin
2016 was a challenging year for the Mendoza winemaking region. El Niño brought excessive rainfall during the spring, and as a result this vintage produced a lower than usual yield. A warm summer brought the grapes to maturity and after careful selection the wines were fermented in stainless steel to preserve their fruit flavours, then aged for 14 months in French oak (70% new) before bottling.
