Composed of three grape varietals grown in the Argentinian terroir and blended using the finest French expertise, this aromatically complex vintage exemplifies the power of assemblage. Treading the balance between power and elegance, Cheval des Andes 2010 is juicy and complex, a nod to the particularly high proportion of pinot verdot – and the malbec and cabernet sauvignon core.

    Cheval des Andes 2010

This vintage comprises 50% malbec, 30% cabernet sauvignon and 20% petit verdot from vineyards in Las Compuertas, Lujan de Cuyo. A mild summer and cool, dry autumn in 2010 led to a wine with natural acidity and fruitiness. Deemed “the equilibrist” by winemakers, this unique vintage finds its balance between the freshness of 2008 and ripeness of 2009.

Food pairing:
A vintage to complement classic red meat dishes

Pair this wine with a hearty and flavourful beef daube, or braised venison, alongside a creamy parsnip mash. A decadent and impressive côte de boeuf is another perfect match..
