Pale salmon pink.
Complex and intense with rich aromas of ripe apricot, pepper, almond paste, nuts and honey.
Full-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture and fine notes of dried fruits. Multifaceted and layered with a long, mineral finish.
Made from a blend of grape varieties – mostly grenache (49%) with syrah (15%), tibouren (15%), rolle (12%), cinsault (7%) and mourvèdre, cabernet, sémillon (2%) – grown over 41 individual plots and gently pressed to protect against oxidation, this first vintage is the result of an unusually late and long harvest caused by 2021’s inclement weather.
Partially aged in oak, 38% of the wines used to craft the final blend were vinified and aged for four to five months in 600-litre barrels (50% new and 50% one year old).
Château Galoupet’s vision is to craft elevated expressions of an exceptional terroir with the utmost respect for the environment from ground to glass.
After four years regenerating our soils, nurturing our vines and reviving all the biodiversity on the estate, the first Château Galoupet Côtes de Provence Rosé wines in organic conversion are available
Committed to nurturing the biodiversity within the unique eco system of its 77 hectares of woodland and 69 hectares of vineyard, Château Galoupet has partnered with local experts to help with regenerating the soils, nurturing the vines and creating a thriving natural haven to attract wildlife. The estate is proudly home to 200 beehives and one of only 12 bee fertilisation stations in the world, serving as a research centre for the French Observatory of Apidology (OFA).
Did you know that packaging accounts for 40% of carbon emissions in the wine industry? At Château Galoupet, we had to look at new, more sustainable solutions to be coherent with our long-term vision.
Château Galoupet Cru Classé Rosé comes in a 499 grammes amber bottle made from 80% recycled glass that saves energy during the production process and transportation.
This would not have been possible without our partners for the development and creation of this lightweight bottle composed of 80% recycled glass, providing full traceability and transparency.
A remarkably versatile wine: from aperitif to dessert, with any meal from a vegetarian risotto to a poultry in sauce, Château Galoupet Cru Classé Rosé 2021 is a wine to accompany you at every step of your dining experience.
